16 months & 33 weeks

Hi there! Well, I am 33 weeks along now. Goodness, progress seems to be slowing down now that I've been staying home. The doctor continues to tell me that I'm measuring a couple weeks ahead of where I'm supposed to be. Meaning, we're probably having another big baby. Yikes! I'm very curious to find out if our little one will make her debut earlier than the due date. And let's just say I wouldn't mind if she did! lol. She's up in my ribs and down in my hips and it's definitely hard to keep up with Miss Bri like this. We shall see!
Speaking of Bri, she's doing great. Minus some scraped knees. :( She's scraped her knee once before but it was just a scratch or 2. These are full blown scraped knees. Poor baby. She is getting more brave now that she's walking so well. She's 16 months old today. Such a big girl. :)
Today also marks the ten year anniversary of my high school graduation. It's crazy to think it was that long ago, but then again, so much has happened in those ten years, it's not hard at all.  Just makes me feel old. lol. I don't think I'll be going to my reunion. I'll be kinda busy. ;-) But the main people I was close to back then, I still keep in contact with now, so there's no real reason to go anyway.
Anywho, Father's Day is coming up in a few weeks. And I have to say, Justin is such an amazing father to Bri.  And she loves her dada. :) So much, she still won't call me Mama! lol. I know baby #2 is gonna love her dada too. I love watching them interact and play. I'm gonna have to think of something cute/fun/special to do for him...

So, yesterday I was digging through my purse and came across my dad's old watch face. It's one of those digital ones. I had been throwing it in my purse whenever I switched purses, just to have it in there, because it would beep every now and then and fondly remind me of my dad.  It didn't have the right time and I didn't know how to change it, but that was okay. I pulled it out because I noticed there weren't any numbers on it.  The watch had finally died.  I'm not sure when exactly, but it had, and sometime this year for sure. Mind you that my dad passed away 9 years ago on December 22nd. I wasn't very sad when I realized the watch had stopped. I just kind of had the feeling of "aw, that's too bad."  Because I guess I realized at that moment that the watch wasn't going to keep me close to my dad.  It's just a watch. And now a dead one at that. I have been thinking about dad a lot lately, as I always do when the holidays come aro...

WE ARE HOMEOWNERS!!

Hello!  We are officially homeowners!!! :) Yippee!! Tonight, we moved the refrigerator and about 10 boxes into the house.  So tonight is our last night in the apartment and we're going to move everything out tomorrow! :) We are so thankful!!

28 Weeks and Counting...

Hello all! Well, I'm 28 weeks along now and time has been flying!  A couple things in my life have been ending or will be ending soon. I quit my job to stay home with Bri and our new baby girl.  J has decided he'd rather me stay home and work overtime a shift or two to cover my paycheck. So here we are. It was sad to leave my kids and my friends at work, but the time for me to leave was coming soon anyway, and I was ready.  I thought I was going to be an emotional mess on my last day, which was Friday, but I did pretty well. I did cry but not too badly and I felt a peace about it all as I left.  The guy who is taking my place seems nice and like he'll fit in well. Plus, the kids like him so that makes me happy. Anyhow, my last class of my masters degree is coming up this week.  I will finally be finished! Hallelujah! It's been four years and I'm so ready. My graduation is the first week in May and my family is coming into town so that will be fun! :) Things are ...
