Baby Morris Moves!

Hi there family and friends!

Well, tomorrow I will be 13 weeks along.  Our last appointment was Wednesday and I had another ultrasound.  The ultrasound tech was trying to measure Baby Morris and he/she wasn't cooperating very well.  He/she wasn't in the right position.  So, she poked around my abdomen in an effort to try to get him/her to move.  It worked!  All of a sudden, as Justin and I were watching the monitor, Baby Morris' arms and legs started squirming about!  We both were like "WHOA!" :)  It was awesome.

Here is one of the ultrasound pics.  Baby Morris is no longer a blob, but is looking like a human!

Timeless Love

So, yesterday I was digging through my purse and came across my dad's old watch face. It's one of those digital ones. I had been throwing it in my purse whenever I switched purses, just to have it in there, because it would beep every now and then and fondly remind me of my dad.  It didn't have the right time and I didn't know how to change it, but that was okay. I pulled it out because I noticed there weren't any numbers on it.  The watch had finally died.  I'm not sure when exactly, but it had, and sometime this year for sure. Mind you that my dad passed away 9 years ago on December 22nd. I wasn't very sad when I realized the watch had stopped. I just kind of had the feeling of "aw, that's too bad."  Because I guess I realized at that moment that the watch wasn't going to keep me close to my dad.  It's just a watch. WE ARE HOMEOWNERS!!

Hello!  We are officially homeowners!!! :) Yippee!! Tonight, we moved the refrigerator and about 10 boxes into the house.  So tonight is our last night in the apartment and we're going to move everything out tomorrow! :) We are so thankful!!

28 Weeks and Counting...

Hello all! Well, I'm 28 weeks along now and time has been flying!  A couple things in my life have been ending or will be ending soon. I quit my job to stay home with Bri and our new baby girl.  J has decided he'd rather me stay home and work overtime a shift or two to cover my paycheck. So here we are. It was sad to leave my kids and my friends at work, but the time for me to leave was coming soon anyway, and I was ready.  I thought I was going to be an emotional mess on my last day, which was Friday, but I did pretty well. I did cry but not too badly and I felt a peace about it all as I left.  The guy who is taking my place seems nice and like he'll fit in well. Plus, the kids like him so that makes me happy. Anyhow, my last class of my masters degree is coming up this week.  I will finally be finished! Hallelujah! It's been four years and I'm so ready. My graduation is the first week in May and my family is coming into town so that will be fun! :) Things are ...
